Carol considers herself born to give advice. From 22 years of giving business and financial advice professionally to a lifetime of giving life advice to literally everyone, she earned the nickname “Lucy” (as in the Peanuts’/Charlie Brown’s friend with “the Doctor is IN” stand!). In fact, strangers actually stop Carol in public daily to ask her questions, probably a vibe from her Midwestern upbringing and approachability. She’s known for a bold personality, tough love and using witty sayings like, “Money may not buy you happiness, but it is more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle” to her own proprietary sayings, like, “Pursue ROI- return on investment versus ROE- return on EGO!”
She has a competency in just about every form of on-camera work. She’s been a judge on the Mark Burnett-produced technology competition show, America’s Greatest Makers and host of Microsoft’s Office Small Business Academy. She’s formerly been a weekly panelist on the Closing Bell and has been on TV regularly for seven years. She is also an advisor to companies ranging from startups to major multi-national corporations.
Professionally, over her career, Carol has helped clients complete more than $2 billion in transactions and transformational initiatives, including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and partnership deals, as well as create 7-figure brand loyalty programs. She’s helped many brands create content and also monetize their viewers, fans and customer bases.
Carol is a former public company director and noted small business advocate, being named a Top 100 Small Business Influencer for the past five years. She counts among her “accomplishments” having an action figure made in her own likeness, getting a standing ovation from Richard Branson and having the NFL follow her on Twitter.
