He was a career employee of Caterpillar, beginning in 1973 and worked in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, quality control, supply-chain and purchasing. He led the development and global deployment of the Caterpillar Production System and conducted training sessions related to CPS in Europe, Asia, South America and North America. In addition, he directly managed a $1+ Billion cost structure with over 2,000 employees; and was responsible for the acquisition of a foreign hydraulics company of which he managed the negotiation, due diligence and integration.
Jim has a B.A. in Business from St. Francis University and an MBA from Governor’s State University.
