Currently in her 12th year with the hit Emmy-winning syndicated morning talk show LIVE with Kelly and Michael, KELLY RIPA took the lead on “LIVE” during the search for a new co-host. Fifty-nine different men and women shared the co-host desk over a nine-month period. During that time, she helped to build the show’s key demo ratings and kept the momentum going until a new host was named.

In 2012, Ripa and former co-host Regis Philbin were honored with their second Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host for “LIVE” after eleven consecutive nominations in that category. Also during her tenure, the show was nominated for ten Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Talk Show, and was presented with the award for the first time at the 2012 ceremony. In addition, Ripa has received two TV Guide Award nominations for Favorite Daytime Talk Show and multiple People’s Choice nominations for Favorite Talk Show Host.

Best known for her television work, Kelly has also ventured into film acting as well as co-founding Milojo Productions with her husband, Mark Consuelos. The SoHo based production company began with the Emmy-nominated feature documentary “The Streak” for ESPN, which told the compelling story of a Florida high school wrestling team with an extraordinary 34-year winning streak. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008. In addition, Milojo had a first-look development deal with TLC and Discovery, and premiered the docu-series “Masters of Reception” in 2009. Following that, the company launched a country-wide search for female inventors and premiered “Homemade Millionaire” on TLC in fall 2010, hosted by Ripa. They also were thrilled to announce that their film “Off the Rez,” with filmmaker Jonathan Hock, was accepted to the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. That project aired on TLC later that year. Milojo produced a pilot for Lifetime and recently produced an exciting new documentary series for CMT entitled “Cheer,” which premiered in September 2012 and has received critical acclaim. The company also aired several in-studio election specials on LOGO, with Wanda Sykes hosting. They currently are producing another sports-related documentary soon to be announced, and have other non-scripted and web-based projects in production and development. Milojo also sold two scripted projects to ABC and is developing more in the scripted arena.

Ripa and Consuelos met on the set of “All My Children” and married in 1996, a year before their characters married onscreen. The couple lives in New York with their three children, Michael, Lola and Joaquin.
